Construction Award for Kensington Neighbourhood Health Centre
The Kensington Neighbourhood Health Centre was named Regional Project of the Year for Liverpool at the North West Construction Industry Awards ceremony in Manchester on 22nd May 2014.
The Liverpool and Sefton Health Partnership (LSHP) development, which has been open for a year, was also highly commended in the Integration and Collaborative Working category.
Michael Webb, General Manager at LSHP, said: ” We are really delighted to have picked up an award for the construction of the Kensington Neighbourhood Health Centre and been highly commended for another. The commendation is especially pleasing because it recognises something about ‘how’ a task has been undertaken and not just a recognition of the end product. In this regard we owe a great debt of gratitude to the Primary Care Trust who had the vision and backed it up all the way. The centre is thriving and has created an attractive community hub in an area which is undergoing vast regeneration and is on a key gateway to Liverpool. It’s great to have been praised for its design and style.”
The North West Construction Industry Awards, now in its 8th year, celebrate the achievements of the region’s best and most innovative construction projects, organisations and individuals.
