LSHP is pleased to be supporting CHP with the Primary Care Data Gathering Programme.

This national programme, managed by Community Health Partnerships (CHP) on behalf of NHSI/E, will deliver a baseline of consistent data for every NHS reimbursed GP practice across England, with a nationally prescribed process and methodology for STPs/ICS’ to maintain it. The project is due to be completed by the end of 2021.

Data fields relating to estates and service operations have been identified which will be collected by LSHP covering: property location, work force, room types and usage, PCN boundary, estate commercial attributes, running costs and 3 facet surveys (physical condition, statutory compliance, and functionality - where already held).

The data will support PCNs and ICS’ in ensuring that current and future investment in primary care estate aligns with long and short-term strategic aspirations through data driven reasoning. Outputs from the national data collection will be accessed by primary care commissioners and visually displayed in SHAPE to further support local planning and investment requests.
