South Liverpool Treatment Centre and Kensington Neighbourhood Health Centre will join together with other prominent buildings across Liverpool in lighting-up to raise awareness for charities and other good causes.
Liverpool & Sefton Health Partnership (LSHP), working together with Head Tenant, Community Health Partnerships (CHP), and FM provider Integral, have installed LED lights on the exterior facades of the two buildings.
The first good cause to be focused was World Diabetes Day on the 14th November, with the two buildings light-up blue – as shown in the photos. The initiative came about in response to a request from Liverpool University Hospital FT to join other prominent buildings across the city; New Royal Hospital, St Georges Hall, Cunard Building, Liverpool One and Radio City Tower, who will all light up with blue lights on the 14th November to show their support for World Diabetes Day.
The lighting will give the buildings the ability to support national awareness campaigns throughout the year, such as lighting up pink for Breast Cancer and yellow for the COVID Day of Reflection.
These two prominent NHS Neighbourhood Health Centres offer a wide range of health & wellbeing services designed to meet the needs of the local population.
