Mossley Hill Mental Health Facility reaches practical completion

We are pleased to confirm that our Mossley Hill project achieved practical completion at the end of August.

The magnificent new building, our biggest development project to date, is the third mental health facility we have successfully delivered on behalf of Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust. After over a decade of planning and subsequent construction works, final preparations are now being made for the new building to open its doors.

Located on the 100-year-old Mossley Hill Hospital site, the new 80-bed facility will significantly elevate the quality of mental health care offered to Mersey residents by offering sensitively designed facilities to better assist treatment and recovery. gbp has provided project management services for this development, delivered through the Liverpool & Sefton Health Partnership (LSHP) LIFTco. We offer a huge thanks to our team and partners who have worked diligently to bring this project to its conclusion throughout various challenges including the COVID pandemic. We're looking forward to seeing the first patients being welcomed soon!
